Just learned an interesting little bit of trivia you may enjoy.

When the male " St. Andrew's Cross" spider is attempting to mate with it's female counterpart, it will pluck out a "song" on the strings of the female's web.  If she is impressed with the "song" she will allow him to mate with her.  If not, she will eat him.

Yet another good reason to practice.

Once we stop chasing other people's licks, tones, sounds and gear we become aware that our own has always been good enough.  Most up and coming musicians don't understand that.  But when you become secure in your own thing and realize that it's 'good enough'... then people start trying to emulate you.
